hi i was wondering if there was a chance of me having them heres the lowdown.
my mum and gran’s had it, i have very odd periods (light sometimes, heavy others, never regular and can go a year without) i’ve had 3 misscariges, i have chest hair which grows really quickly, my skin is always oily and i get spots and dandruff (if thats relevant), sleep apnea (snore and stop breathing in sleep) and i have suffer from anxeity attacks due to my apperance.
oh and how would i ask my doctor about tests? surely if i said “i think i’ve got PCOS” he’ll think i’ve got munchausen’s?

I have got this, and it took a while to sort the diagnosis out, in the end i demanded an ultra sound and low and behold I had a bad case. Symptoms vary, I get hair on my breasts, chin, face, big bikini bush!! and oddly heavy painfull periods to the point of being bedridden for days at a atime. I would ask to see a gyno or a female nurse as this is a common syndrome and a female knows what we are talking about.
